Today and tomorrow, the Meydan Equestrian Center in the UAE will host the third qualifying round of the show jumping qualifiers for Regional Group 7 of the International Federation for Equestrian Sports. The event will feature riders from the junior, youth, and children's categories. This event is part of a preparation program targeting the regional final, scheduled to take place in Qatar next April. This round follows two previous qualifying stages held this season. The first took place in mid-December during the International Resort Equestrian Sports Festival, and the second was held in the first week of February at the Sharjah International Championship. Thus, this stage becomes crucial in the race to accumulate points and select the best results to represent the UAE in the final. The competitions are organized by the UAE Equestrian and Racing Federation under the supervision of the International Federation for Equestrian Sports, with the support of Longines, in accordance with technical and organizational standards suitable for the target age groups, including course design and internationally accredited judging levels. The round's program includes six international competitions, two for each category. The first competition will be held under the special rules of two stages, and the second under the rules of a single round with a jump-off to break ties. The jump heights for the youth category will be 130 cm, for the juniors 120 cm, and for the children's category 110 cm.
