Dr. Saif Salem Al-Nuaimi, Vice President of the UAE Chess Federation and currently the Commissioner, inaugurated the event. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of developing chess in the country. Al-Nuaimi expressed his confidence that such competitions help to discover new talents.
