Tadić on Al Wahda's Heavy Schedule

Al Wahda's Dušan Tadić commented on the team's heavy schedule, noting it is both a challenge and valuable experience, which, however, affected results in some matches, including the draw with Shabab Al-Ahli.

Tadić on Al Wahda's Heavy Schedule

Serbian player Dušan Tadić of Al Wahda stated that the heavy match schedule this season poses a significant challenge for the team, given the large number of matches in various tournaments over short periods. He noted that this situation also provides players with greater experience in handling such conditions, but at the same time, it has affected the team's results in certain periods, as he put it. Tadić's comments came after Al Wahda drew 1-1 with Shabab Al-Ahli in a postponed match from the 16th round of the Pro League. Shabab Al-Ahli took the lead in the first half before Al Wahda managed to equalize in the second. Tadić told "Al Ittihad": "We faced one of the best teams in the league; they are last season's champions and have a great coach and a strong team." He added: "In the first half, Shabab Al-Ahli was the better side, but in the second, our performance improved significantly, we played at a higher level, and we were close to scoring a second goal and perhaps winning the match." Regarding Al Wahda's strong start each season followed by a loss of competitiveness, he said: "We are playing a large number of matches this season in various tournaments, both locally and abroad, and this is not easy for some players who are not used to playing every three or four days, but this experience will give the team more knowledge."
