United extended their lead over their closest rivals to four points over second-place Dibba Al-Hisn and six points over third-place Al-Tawoon after the 19th round of the First Division. The team strengthened its top position after a 3-1 victory over Al-Jazira Al-Hamra, raising their total to 40 points and benefiting from Dibba Al-Hisn's 2-3 loss to Hatta.
