Ali Al Yahyai (28), a player for Al-Majd club, confirmed that his joy is indescribable after scoring four goals in his team's victory over 'Gulf United' in the First Division football league, especially as it was the first time he has scored a 'hat-trick' in his football career. Al Yahyai stated that this achievement was the result of focus, great support, and cooperation from his teammates on the field, in addition to the prayers and support of his parents, and the care provided by Al Ain club since his childhood. He affirmed that without this, he would not have achieved any success. Ali Al Yahyai told 'Al-Ittihad': 'Winning against Gulf United is very important, as it came at a time when the team needed to win points to get closer to the safe zone amidst strong competition to avoid relegation. Scoring four goals made me very happy, along with winning the three points. Also, the team's spirit and teamwork contributed to achieving the victory, and we celebrated together in the dressing room. I told my teammates that they were behind the hat-trick and the precious points.' Al Yahyai explained that Al-Majd is currently going through a difficult phase, as it has 13 points in 13th place, indicating that the challenges are due to the strength of the competition. Nevertheless, the team's spirit is present, and everyone is working diligently to improve performance. He praised the role of the fans, who represent the biggest motivator for the players. Ali stressed that he will work with maximum energy and great ambition to join the national team in the coming period, confirming that tactical discipline and intensive training are the way to achieve this goal. He explained that he aspires to score as many goals as possible and compete for the top scorer spot, as long as it serves the team's results. Al Yahyai confirmed that he will remain 'Al-Aini' in origin, spirit, and passion, due to the support, care, and foundation that 'The Leader' (Al Ain's nickname) has provided him, noting that he always celebrates Al Ain club's victories on various occasions. Regarding his career, Al Yahyai clarified that it began with Al Ain club, which he represented in 2017, before joining Croatian club Dinamo Zagreb (the second team) during his business administration studies, then returning to play for Al Ain again, before moving to professional league clubs Dhofar, Hatta, Fujairah, and Aruba. He pointed out that the presence of foreign and resident players reduced his chances of continuous participation, which prompted him to play in the First Division to prove his worth and strive to return to the spotlight. Al Yahyai concluded by thanking every coach who supervised his training, appreciating the great support he received from former national team player and Al-Majd team manager, Mohammed Abdulrahman, and the team's former coach, Isa Busheim Al Ali. He confirmed that, as a straightforward striker, distinguished by his speed and ability to finish attacks, he sees himself always ready to work on developing his level and waiting for a real opportunity to represent the 'White' (the UAE national team). He concluded: 'The support of my mother and father at all times has directly contributed to my persistence despite the limited opportunities, but it has been a great motivation for me to rise again.'
