Former Al-Bataeh Coach Confident in Team's Pro League Survival

The former head coach of Al-Bataeh, Mohammed Al-Raeesi, expressed his full confidence in the 'Raqi's ability to stay in the Pro League this season, stressing that what the club possesses of distinguished technical elements and team spirit is enough to overcome the current stage and achieve the required stability in results. Al-Bataeh defeated Ajman 1-0 last Tuesday in the 19th round of the Pro League, raising their points tally to 16 in 13th (second-bottom) place, two points behind Dibba in last place, and two points behind Al-Dhafra who are in 12th place. Al-Raeesi told 'Emirates Today' that Al-Bataeh has the makings of a team capable of continuing in the Pro League, and that there is no fear of the team being relegated, as it includes professional players and citizens with high technical levels, and many of them have great experience in the competition, which gives the team the ability to compete and avoid relegation. He added: 'I am confident that Al-Bataeh will stay in the ADNOC Pro League this season, and what the team needs is just some stability and focus on the small details inside the matches.' Al-Raeesi pointed out that 'the differences that deprived Al-Bataeh from achieving better results in some matches were very simple, especially as it presented good levels against strong teams in the league, but it lost in decisive moments or in the final minutes due to bad luck and lack of fortune.' He also confirmed his support for the club's management regarding technical stability within the first team, and the continuation of the technical apparatus led by coach Farhad Majidi until the end of the season. Al-Raeesi expressed his confidence in the current team's coach Farhad Majidi's ability to benefit from the capabilities available within the club, confirming that Al-Bataeh has a good group of players capable of presenting better levels during the remaining rounds in the league. He also spoke about the departure of Al-Bataeh's former striker and top scorer Anatoli during the winter transfer window, considering that his exit at this time was not the best option for the team. Al-Raeesi also talked about his experience with Al-Bataeh, confirming that he found great potential within the club, whether at the level of players or management.
