The event kicked off with the first race over 1200 meters for four-year-old local-bred Pure Arabian horses. Sixteen horses competed for the 'Porsche Cup', valued at 50,000 dirhams, with victory going to the filly 'KT Al Naama', ridden by jockey Abdulaziz Al Bulushi and trained by Mohammed Al Mahrookhin. The main event was the 'Kienland Cup', boasting a 120,000 dirham prize purse. Twelve top thoroughbreds competed in the mile-long (1600 meters) sand race. Jockey Tag Oushi successfully guided 'Zandvoort' to victory, clocking 1 minute 36.40 seconds, finishing 0.51 lengths ahead of the second-place horse, 'The Ice Phoenix'. In other results, the second race over 1200 meters for Thoroughbred crosses aged three and up was won by 'Ashwan', owned by Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Hamid Al Nuaimi. The third race over 1000 meters for Thoroughbred crosses aged three and up saw the colt 'Light Thunder' win. In the fourth race over 1600 meters for four-year-old horses, the title went to the colt 'Rashwan'. In the sixth race over 1800 meters for 'Tekap' class Thoroughbred crosses, victory was claimed by the filly 'Kibo Misaki'. The final seventh race over 1950 meters for Thoroughbred crosses aged three and up was won by the horse 'Uvraj'.
