Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola believes his team needs time to match its previous achievements after being eliminated from the Champions League. "We are not a complete team, that's the truth," he added. "We need to finish the league strongly, make good decisions this summer, and we will return to the Champions League next season." Guardiola wants City to aspire to the level of expectations set by Real Madrid, where anything less than winning the tournament is considered a failure. "I would like this club to be like Madrid, where if you don't win the Champions League, it's a failure. Perhaps with time, we will get there." At City, that is not the expectation yet. "I have a team in Manchester City that was complete in every aspect, but now it's not. But we have the final on Sunday, an FA Cup match against Liverpool, and the league is still open. That is the pressure."
