The value of this achievement lies in it being the first medal in the history of UAE cycling at the World Cup level. National team coach Mohammed Al-Murwi said: 'This achievement reflects the qualitative leap that para-sports are witnessing in the country, and the unlimited support it receives from the leadership. This achievement is not just a medal, but a new starting point for Emirati cycling towards global podiums.' Emirati cyclist Ahmed Al-Bdawawi won the bronze medal in the individual race (C5 category), which covered a distance of 75 km, at the Para-Cycling World Cup currently held in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
