Horses Prepare for Dubai World Cup

Japanese 'Forever Young' and Saudi 'Walk of Stars' are among the favorites for the prestigious Dubai World Cup. Qatari 'Hit Show' aims to repeat a historic feat.

Horses Prepare for Dubai World Cup

The Japanese horse 'Forever Young', under trainer Yoshito Yahagi, returns to the main race after finishing third last year. He is armed with outstanding achievements in his current season, including winning the prestigious American 'Breeders' Cup Classic' and following it up with a victory in the 'Saudi Cup'. Meanwhile, 'Walk of Stars', representing Saudi Arabia and finishing fourth last year under trainer Bob Batters, seeks the most significant achievement of his career. He tested his capabilities on the 'Meydan' track this season, placing second in the 'Al Maktoum Classic' for the second category last month. The British horse 'Emperor Emperor', also under trainer Bob Batters, is making his second return to the main race after a disappointing performance last year. Four out of nine horses will participate in the main 'Dubai World Cup' race for the second consecutive year. The total prize money for this prestigious event, set to take place next Saturday, is $12 million. The Qatari horse 'Hit Show', guided by trainer Brad Cox, aims to win the 'Dubai World Cup' for the second consecutive time. This would allow him to match the feat of 'Thunder Snow', who under the legendary trainer Saeed bin Suroor is the only horse to have achieved this double victory, winning in 2018 and 2019.
