The Basketball Association has postponed the fifth round of the semi-final stage of the playoffs due to inclement weather and heavy rainfall across the country. In a statement issued two days ago, the association stated that in order to uphold the highest safety standards and ensure the well-being of players, coaching staff, and administrators, the two fifth-round semi-final matches, originally scheduled for last Friday, have been rescheduled to Sunday. These matches featured Al-Nasr hosting Al-Bataeh and Sharjah hosting Al-Ahli. Furthermore, due to the postponement of the fifth round, the association has adjusted the date for the sixth and final round of the semi-finals. This round, which was set for March 31st and pitted Al-Ahli against Al-Nasr and Sharjah against Al-Bataeh, will now take place on April 2nd.
