Al-Wasl FC has returned to winning ways following the departure of goalkeeper Khalid Al-Snani, securing a significant 3-1 victory over Ajman. The match, held yesterday evening at Rashid bin Saeed Stadium as part of the 22nd round of the Pro League, was attended by approximately 2,000 spectators. Goalkeeper Suhail Abdullah, making his debut for Al-Wasl, delivered a standout performance. "We congratulate ourselves on the victory. Ajman's sole goal was scored by Letieri Silva from a penalty in added time. In another match, Al-Jazira defeated Al-Dhafra 4-3, strengthening their hold on third place with 40 points. Al-Dhafra, with 17 points, remains at the bottom of the table. Off the field, Al-Nasr continued their impressive away form, winning their seventh consecutive match without defeat by beating Al-Zafra 1-0. This win propelled "The General" to sixth place with 31 points. The match between Al-Hurfaqan and Al-Bataeh ended in a 1-1 draw, a result that does little for either team's hopes of avoiding relegation. Al-Hurfaqan is ninth with 24 points, while Al-Bataeh is twelfth with 19 points.
