The Dubai Basketball Club has announced that it has reached a mutual agreement with coach Eureka Golimac to terminate the contract between the two parties. The club extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to coach Golimac for his high professionalism, great commitment, and dedication throughout his tenure with the team in Dubai. Since his appointment in the summer of 2024, Golimac played a pivotal role in the club's first two seasons, including the first participation in the ABA League, where the Dubai basketball team achieved third place by reaching the semi-finals. In the current season, which marks the club's first appearance in the EuroLeague, Golimach led the team in 59 games across the EuroLeague (37 games) and the ABA League (22 games). With one round left in the regular EuroLeague season, the Dubai basketball team has a record of 19 wins and 18 losses, sitting in 11th place in the standings. In the ABA League, the team has achieved 19 wins against 3 losses and currently shares the top of the table with KK Partizan Belgrade. Jan Sentjurits will serve as the interim head coach for Monday's game against Buducnost.
