Shabab Al-Ahli secured a victory over Sharjah with a score of 2:1 in a decisive match held between the teams in the sixth round of the championship.
Both goals for Shabab Al-Ahli were scored in the first half of the match. They started with an early goal by Ignazio Piatto in the 13th minute, which allowed the team to take the lead. After this, Igor Kornev distinguished himself in the 44th minute, doubling his team’s advantage.
Sharjah managed to respond with just one goal, scored by Dia Sabba in the 67th minute. Although they tried to create more chances in the remaining time of the match, Shabab Al-Ahli held on to the pressure and maintained their victory.
