Saeed Harib noted that the Emirates, and particularly Dubai, have become one of the preferred global venues for golf tournaments where elite players gather to participate in the largest and most significant competitions. He also noted the increasing number of viewers, especially at the DP World Tour Championship, where the last tournament had 79,000 spectators, as well as the growing audience through television channels.
Harib emphasized the appeal of golf courses in Dubai, as well as various other aspects, including hospitality facilities, transport infrastructure development, airlines, which make participation in the tournaments here attractive for players and spectators.
The DP World Tour Championship comprises 44 tournaments across 24 countries, held under the slogan "The Race to Dubai," and concluding this stage of the tournament in Dubai gathers the top 50 players in the world rankings.
