
The Mehraan football team became the winner of the Khabtaur Cup in the current November after winning in the final match.
Mehraan secured victory in the Khabtaur Cup on November, defeating the Volki team with a score of 4-2 in the final match of the tournament, which involved five teams: Mehraan under the leadership of Dani Hashemi, Dubai Wolves under the leadership of Khabtaur, (AM) under the leadership of Sheikh Ali Al Maktoum, BBH under the management of Thomas Bazzilio, and Serbros under the leadership of Tommy Areart. The final match drew a record number of spectators, exceeding 5000 people, on the occasion of the opening day of the official partner of the club and the Khabtaur resort for female and conventional sports, IVZA.
The Mehraan team previously defeated the AM team 5-4 in the semifinals, and the final match against the Dubai Wolves was a showcase at the level of artistry, with the active presence of fans. The match was filled with drama throughout all periods, as the "Wolves" took the lead, but Mehraan quickly leveled the score, after which they maintained the lead in the game, thanks to contributions from Dani Hashemi and Karim El Zarifa. After the matches concluded, the executive director of IVZA, Josh Kenisht, presented the winners' prizes.
