Marten Van Riel from Belgium and Taylor Knibb from the USA win the first ever T100 World Championship titles at the Dubai T100 World Tour Final. The event showcased elite endurance sports and affirmed Dubai's status as a global sports hub.

Marten Van Riel from Belgium and Taylor Knibb from the USA emerged victorious in the elite races, claiming the inaugural T100 World Championship titles. The event took place at the Meydan Racecourse in Dubai and was attended by His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council.

His Highness watched the thrilling men’s professional race, praising the organization of the event and its role in enhancing Dubai’s reputation as a top destination for sports. Marten Van Riel secured the win in the men’s pro race, completing the course in 3 hours, 9 minutes, and 17 seconds after a successful season with wins in San Francisco and Ibiza.

In the women’s pro race, Taylor Knibb impressed with a remarkable performance, clinching both the race victory and the overall series title, solidifying her position as a prominent figure in the sport. The World Title trophies were presented to Van Riel and Knibb by notable figures including His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Hareb, Secretary General of Dubai Sports Council, and representatives from professional triathlon organizations.

The race also featured over 3,400 age-group triathletes competing on the same course as the elite athletes in the 100km Age Group race. His Highness commended the dedication of all participants vying for the prestigious title, emphasizing Dubai’s capability to host world-class events and its status as a hub for sporting excellence.

In the men’s age-group category, Quentin Amaral, a UAE resident, claimed victory with a finishing time of 03:25:46. Additionally, Caroline Bridges from the UK topped the women’s age-group category with a notable finish time of 04:02:27. The Race Village at Meydan Racecourse offered enjoyable family-friendly entertainment and activities, including brand activations and live music, while spectators from 63 nations cheered on the athletes during the event.
