The international competition of music at the Fortepiano in Fujairah has been held six times by the Academy of Fine Arts and is one of the most important musical events with the participation of professionals from all over the world. Musicians of different ages participate in the competition not only from the UAE but also from other countries. The auditions begin with the performances of the participants in front of an international jury, which evaluates the performance and selects the winner. The director of the Academy of Fine Arts in Fujairah, Ali Abid al-Hafiti, noted that the competition has become one of the leading musical events on a global scale, contributing to cultural and artistic exchange between nations. Participants are divided into four age groups: category 'A' up to 10 years, category 'B' from 11 to 13 years, category 'C' from 14 to 17 years, and category 'D' from 18 years and older.
