Austrian tennis player Lily Tager won the first Fujairah International Women's Tennis Tournament (J100) in the singles category. The tournament, organized by the UAE Tennis and Padel Federation in cooperation with the Fujairah Tennis Club, concluded its competitions. The winners were crowned by Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, alongside the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Fujairah Tennis Club, Abdulghafur Behruzian, in the presence of the club's Director, Haneen Riki. Lily Tager managed to win the final match against the British player Harriet Dart with a score of (6-4) and (6-2), to win the championship title by merit. In the women's doubles competition, the British pair of Harriet Dart and Maya Lumsdine took first place, after they won the final match against the duo of the Dutch player Isabel Havelaar and the Russian player Elena Bredankina with a score of (6-1) and (6-0). Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi congratulated the winners, wishing them continued success in the upcoming tournaments, and praising the efforts of the UAE Tennis and Padel Federation and the Fujairah Tennis Club, confirming that Fujairah has become an important platform for hosting and organizing sporting events on both local and international levels. In turn, Abdulghafur Behruzian expressed his pride in the success of the tournament, confirming that organizing this international event is a fruit of fruitful cooperation with the UAE Tennis and Padel Federation, and reflects the club's commitment to supporting women's tennis.
