Faisal Abdullah Alioun, Director of the Commercial Control and Protection Department, stated that his department continues to implement comprehensive inspection plans aimed at stabilizing markets and protecting consumer rights. He noted that these figures reflect the scale of efforts made to monitor the compliance of commercial establishments. The department also emphasized that it will continue to intensify inspection and awareness campaigns in the coming period, focusing on raising awareness among business owners and consumers alike to ensure compliance with the laws and regulations in force in the emirate. The Department of Economic Development in Ras Al Khaimah, represented by the Commercial Control and Protection Department, conducted 12,065 inspection visits to various markets and commercial establishments across the emirate in the first quarter of this year. The department clarified that the inspection tours covered various commercial activities, during which 25 intensive inspection campaigns were carried out targeting vital sectors, to ensure that establishments comply with the requirements and laws governing commercial activity. The department confirmed that these campaigns are part of its strategic plan aimed at enhancing a competitive and sustainable business environment.
