The organization for the development of tourism in the Emirate of Ras al-Khaimah continues to strengthen its position as one of the leading places for hosting international sporting events. It has launched a new cycling race that takes place on Jais Mountain.
This unique marathon offers participants the opportunity to immerse themselves in the picturesque landscape of Jais Mountain and experience authentic Asian hospitality. The length of the track is more than fifty kilometers, creating a sporting competition that highlights its heritage while exploring the biodiversity of the Emirate.
Khalid Mataar al-Shamsi, a board member and the general director of the organization, expressed confidence that the new race will become a significant event in the region's sports calendar. He emphasized that this is an excellent opportunity to draw attention to the potential of Ras al-Khaimah as a sports tourism destination.
