The Ras Al Khaimah Creative Cultural Center, affiliated with the Ministry of Culture, hosts the 'Cultural Connection' exhibition, featuring 24 creative shots by Omani photographer and journalist Ahmed bin Khalifa bin Mohammed Al-Shahhi. The works document the aesthetics of nature, heritage, and arts in Oman and the UAE. Yesterday, at the exhibition's opening, Sheikh Engineer Sultan bin Saud bin Sakr Al-Qasimi, Director General of Civil Aviation and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ras Al Khaimah International Airport, stated that 'Cultural Connection' is a visual bridge that proves culture is the unifying soul. He noted that visual arts, particularly photography, serve as a universal language that enhances communication values between generations and diverse cultures. He praised the pioneering role of the Ministry of Culture in spreading artistic awareness through its creative cultural center in Ras Al Khaimah, which has become a significant cultural hub for organizing unique events. He added that photography captures beautiful moments and highlights tourist attractions, as professional photographers play a key role in conveying the true essence of a place, thereby supporting the tourism sector and promoting cultural identity. Meanwhile, Ahmed Al-Shahhi, a member of the Omani Journalists Association, expressed his happiness about the exhibition's opening, explaining that his work aims to showcase the natural and cultural diversity that Oman is rich in and reflects his passion for capturing beauty through an artistic lens. In turn, Muz Al-Masafiri, Director of the Ras Al Khaimah Cultural Center, thanked photographer Ahmed Al-Shahhi, noting the center's welcome to the creative talents of the region.
