Italian rider Antonio Tiberi won the third stage, the 'Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Stage', of the 2026 UAE Tour, the only WorldTour race in the Middle East, which is part of the International Cycling Union's calendar. The race is organized by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, sponsored by Abu Dhabi Ports, and will run until February 22 in its eighth edition.
The Bahrain Victorious rider covered the 183 km mountain stage in 4 hours, 24 minutes, and 44 seconds, beating Mexico's Isaac del Toro of the Emirates XRG team by 15 seconds and Belgian Van der Poel of the Lotto Soudal team by 29 seconds, who finished third in the stage.
Tiberi's victory at Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah allowed him to take the overall lead of the tour, seizing the red jersey, sponsored by Abu Dhabi Ports, from Belgian Remco Evenepool. Tiberi's total recorded time was 7 hours, 9 minutes, and 3 seconds, 21 seconds ahead of del Toro and a full minute ahead of Colombian Harold Tejada of the Astana Qazaqstan team.
Del Toro reclaimed the green jersey (sponsored by Mubadala) with 36 points. Antonio Tiberi won the white jersey (sponsored by Aldar) for the best young rider under 25, while the black jersey (sponsored by The Deal) for the winner of the medium-speed intermediate sprints went to Sylvain Moniquet of the Alpecin-Deceuninck team.
