The administration of "Saradha Cooperative" announced the allocation of financial resources in the amount of 35 million dirhams to support price reductions on more than 10,000 products before and during the month of Ramadan. The director of "Saradha Cooperative" Majid Salem al-Junayd stated at today's press conference that discount offers during the Ramadan season include discounts of up to 75% on food and consumer goods in various sectors.
He explained that "the Cooperative has been working according to a previously established monthly plan during the month of Ramadan to ensure sufficient stock of essential food products, which will be offered at discounted prices during the holy month, in order to meet the needs of families amid the increased consumer demand at this time," adding that products will be optimally offered for maximum accessibility and at the lowest prices for most buyers.
"The Cooperative has presented three types of Ramadan bundles this year with prices ranging from 99 to 399 dirhams, including various products that satisfy consumer needs with an estimated discount of around 50%, including basic products such as rice, sugar, flour, oil, and others which can be purchased in physical stores or through online purchases."
"The Cooperative expects a 10% increase in the number of buyers this year, as the number of buyers last year exceeded 13 million people, while daily transactions amounted to 40 thousand purchases," he noted, adding that "the Cooperative has plans for expansion this year to increase the number of retail points."
He also pointed out that the price reduction campaign, launched under the name "Gifts of Ramadan", allows to ease the economic burdens for citizens and residents, as the Cooperative aims to provide consumer goods and food products at accessible prices in more than 69 retail points distributed throughout the Emirate of Sharjah.
"The Cooperative has represented several public initiatives during the blessed month of Ramadan, starting with coordination with charitable organizations to distribute food bundles with the aim of meeting the needs of those in need during the holy month."
