The Sharjah Debt Settlement Committee has resolved debts for 147 cases, totaling AED 76 million, providing financial relief for citizens in need.


Sharjah Settles AED 76 Million Debt for Citizens

The Committee on the Settlement of Debts in Sharjah has approved debts in 147 cases for a total of 76 million dirhams. According to the WAM statement, the Sharjah government aims to ensure a stable and decent life for its citizens, having established a total of 76,350,000 dirhams to settle debts in 147 cases. This initiative is in accordance with the directive of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Member of the Council and Ruler of Sharjah.

Rashid Ahmed bin Al-Sheikh, head of the ruler's court of Sharjah (Amiri Diwan) and chairman of the committee on the settlement of debts in Sharjah, stated that 147 individuals were approved during the time of the 28th payment of the initiative. Among these cases were individuals convicted in financial cases, and those who passed away and left unpaid debts.

In addition, Al-Sheikh explained that the public funds allocated for the settlement of debts from the first to the 28th batch amounted to 1,279,987,153 dirhams and were directed to assist 2,648 individuals.
