The Central Finance Department in Sharjah welcomed a delegation from Ajman's Finance Department to discuss best financial practices and enhance collaboration for improved budget efficiency.


Financial Practices Enhanced in Sharjah

The Department of Central Financial Services in Sharjah received a delegation from the finance department in Ajman. The sides discussed the latest achievements in the area of best financial practices implemented in subordinate departments in the Sharjah government, aimed at exchanging experiences and studying methods of analysis of expenditures and evaluation of financial activities to enhance the effectiveness of financial operations and strengthen cooperation between financial departments in the UAE.

The division of central financial services in Sharjah presented procedures for enhancing recommendations for improving the effectiveness of expenditures and optimizing the use of financial support from ministries to achieve the best possible use of resources. The mechanism of developing and approving the financial policy, aligned with the vision of the Emir of Sharjah, highlighted the key components of financial policy and the criteria for their definition, relevant to the strategic directions of the emirate.

The budget manager in the central financial department in Sharjah, Marva as-Suveidi, emphasized that the department is focused on enhancing the effectiveness of financial operations, supporting local institutions with regard to the tasks of the government and the ambitious vision of the emirate. She indicated that ongoing collaboration with financial departments in the UAE contributes to increasing financial effectiveness, supports financial sustainability and economic growth, based on the best financial practices and ensuring an integral financial environment for maximized effectiveness of the use of available resources.

In her own view, the head of the budget management in the governing body of budgets in the Upolnomochennye department of finance in Ajman, Akhmed ash-Shamri, noted the constant striving of the financial department in Ajman for the development of better financial practices aimed at effective use of resources for the advancement and well-being of citizens and residents of the emirate. He expressed readiness for cooperation with the financial department and called on everyone to participate in initiatives that contribute to financial stability and exchange of successful experiences in the UAE.
