Dana Gas announced that its net profit for the first quarter of 2025 amounted to 158 million dirhams, which is 13% higher than last year, when the profit was 140 million dirhams. This increase is attributed to the rise in the prices of gas sales in Egypt after the signing of the agreement on the merging of licensed areas, as well as reduced amortization and consumption costs, and also the decrease in financial expenses.
The decline in the company’s annual production was primarily explained by the decrease in production in Egypt, as well as the reduction in oil prices. The company’s output in the first quarter of 2025 was about 334 million dirhams, while last year it was at the level of 356 million dirhams.
