The Emirates Publishers Association enhanced its international presence during its participation in the Sharjah International Book Fair 2025, through a series of partnerships and strategic meetings aimed at developing the publishing industry and protecting intellectual property rights. The Association's pavilion witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Economy and Tourism to enhance cooperation in the field of intellectual property. It also organized an expanded meeting with the International Publishers Association, with the participation of Arab publishing federations, to discuss ways to develop the sector. Additionally, the Association hosted a delegation of top French publishers and held a meeting with the China Printing Industry Association to expand cooperation in printing technologies. The Executive Director of the Emirates Publishers Association, Rashid Al Qass, stated that this participation reflects the Association's commitment to supporting authors and establishing a sustainable publishing environment in the United Arab Emirates. He said: "We are committed to providing quality initiatives that support authors' rights and contribute to developing the creative ecosystem in the UAE".
