Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival to Showcase Innovation

The event "Festival of Entrepreneurship in Sharjah" brings together the largest entrepreneurial community in the region, including 150 startups in the "Startup Hub," organized with the support of the company "du" through digital communication. The festival is designed to provide a platform for showcasing creative ideas, solutions, innovative products and services, as well as to highlight ideal projects and invest in the development of the business community in Sharjah and the UAE.

"Startup Hub" includes several key areas, including "Launch Investors," gathering 100 investors and offering more than 320 investment meetings to discuss potential collaboration opportunities, partnership formations, the presentation of ideas, and obtaining advice for the growth and expansion of businesses. The festival, organized by the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa), will take place on February 1 and 2 at the "Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park".

Sarah Abdallah Aziz bin Khair Naimi, Executive Director of Sheraa, emphasized that the festival provides a platform for ambitious entrepreneurs, innovative projects, and ideas from around the world to showcase their projects to peers and major investors.

Fahd al-Hassawi, General Director of du, noted that the support for the "Startup Hub" at the Entrepreneurship Festival in Sharjah is a continuation of their commitment to supporting entrepreneurship in the country through innovation, collaboration, and vision.

The event proposes a diverse program of seminars, discussions, and interactive master classes, tailored to various interests and sectors in the field of entrepreneurship. The competition "Startup Presentation" alongside the initiative "1Tank" is one of the key events in the "Startup Hub," where entrepreneurs can present their ideas, receive valuable feedback, and compete for a total prize of 200,000 dirhams, as well as for investment financing of up to 500,000 dirhams. This competition embodies the spirit of the festival and its mission to support innovative ideas and their transformation into concrete projects.
