The Sharjah Businesswomen Council kicked off 2025 with two events highlighting its commitment to support women in the business sector and enhance the entrepreneurial environment in the emirate.

Mayor Sardjhi assumed office after the inauguration at Murabaha Square in Sharjah. The ruler of the emirate took the oath of allegiance during an impressive ceremony. The president announced his strategy and called for solidarity and cooperation with neighboring countries. "Today, I actually begin my activities as the mayor of Sharjah, with the forum of my homeland. This homeland, where I was born and raised, and I commit to work for its prosperity and the spirit of community," said the mayor after the inauguration.

After this, the head of the emirate received congratulations and wishes for successful fulfillment of his responsibilities from significant state and community leaders.

As part of his first day of work, the mayor visited a number of important facilities and infrastructure of the homeland, listened to presentations on the current state of affairs in various sectors, and commended the employees for their dedication and perseverance.

"Work has already begun, and our team is full of resolve and enthusiasm to achieve impressive results. Our goal is to make Sharjah an even more prosperous and thriving place for all its residents," he noted.
