Within the framework of the eighth "Festival of Entrepreneurship in Sharjah," there was a meeting with the global mind and innovator Niki Skin. The event, organized by the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Shara), brought together an audience along with Mukhammed al-Hakeem, the first Arab holding the position of CEO at Cryptocom in the UAE. He predicts that "in the next two years, people in the UAE will increasingly use digital currencies in everyday transactions".
In the dialogue "Mishlenie Kremnievoy doliny: organized game and paper victories," which was held by the platform "Entrepreneurs," Niki Skin shared his vision of success methods in startups, emphasizing that entrepreneurship is not based on randomness but on strategic planning and decision-making based on data. He stated: "Companies that ensure sustainable growth are those that understand and analyze data in order to make their decisions".
Skin explained that success requires constant experiments and accepting failures as part of the path to innovation, noting that large companies in the Silicon Valley earlier test their initial models to guarantee their effectiveness before launching into the market. He also pointed out that one of the key factors that makes Silicon Valley a global center of innovations is the culture of collaboration and partnership, where entrepreneurs engage with mentors, investors, and developers to develop their ideas and achieve mutual success.
At the sessions "The Future of Digital Currencies," held on the "Impact" platform, emirate Mukhammed al-Hakeem expressed his affirmation for the festival audience, predicting that over the next two years, "people in the UAE will use digital currencies in their daily lives, paying for coffee, rent, and accounts, and I say 'in the UAE' because it provides a safe, organized, and flexible environment for investment in this area."
Al-Hakeem talked about major changes in the field of digital currencies and the expected impact on the global economy, noting the weak presence of Arabs in this area, which prompted him to enter the digital currency industry. He emphasized the need to present digital knowledge to the new generation, saying: "Digital currencies have become a new financial language, but many know little about them, and we plan to discuss with the UAE Ministry of Education the inclusion of digital currencies in educational programs, as the new generation is very interested. We also launched the Crypto University, where everyone can learn for free, and in the near future, content will be available in Arabic."
Al-Hakeem also discussed innovations that facilitate the adoption of digital currencies, such as the agreement with MasterCard on the issuance of the Crypto card, which allows users to pay with digital currencies after converting them into traditional currencies, such as dollars and dirhams.
