
The Sharji Museum at the Cairo International Book Fair 2025 aims to strengthen cooperation with Egyptian heritage, scientific research, publishing, and dissemination. They also present a rich cultural program, including seminars, dialogues, autograph sessions, and literary events both within the fair and beyond its limits.
The museum director, Dr. Abdulahziz Al-Maslam, noted: "Our participation in the Cairo Book Fair underlines the importance of books as a bridge to knowledge and an instrument for preserving and strengthening cultural heritage." He emphasized that the museum strives to present quality publications containing rich materials on heritage as both material and immaterial, allowing readers the opportunity to enrich themselves with diverse treasures and engage with ancient Arab cultural heritage.
Al-Maslam mentioned that the number of museum publications has exceeded 1,001 volumes, including encyclopedias, dictionaries, books, and specialized research. He also added that the museum's every edition of the "Cairo Book Fair" showcases outstanding participation that enriches the cultural scene with quality publications, contributing to the development of scientific research and documentation of Arab heritage.
The museum participates in niche sessions and also in the third workshop on the digital portal of World Material Cultural Heritage. The museum's cultural program anticipates the launch of new publications, focusing on various themes of heritage.
