The event dedicated to national poetry took place in Sharjah, where a large public reading of poetry was held as part of the 19th annual festival of national poetry. Representatives of cultural organizations, poets, and followers of national creativity participated in the event.
On the third day of the festival, poets from different countries performed, such as the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, and Jordan. They read their works, each reflecting different aspects of the culture and laws of their countries.
One of the participants emphasized the importance of Sharjah in promoting culture, calling it the center of intellectual and scientific development. Other poets shared their poems, expressing their thoughts and feelings.
The festival also featured a thematic reading of poems by female poets from different Arab countries, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Qatar. Each of them presented their work dedicated to Sharjah and its contribution to the development of literature and poetry. Participants in the event were awarded for their creative contributions.
