Inauguration of Ayyala Art Monument in Sharjah

The Emirate Heritage Museum in Sharjah unveiled a memorial to the art "Al-Ayala," symbolizing one of the oldest folk arts in the country. This creation is an expression of national identity and social cohesion, passed down from generation to generation. The art "Al-Ayala" is a key element of the emirate's heritage, inscribed on the UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage.

The memorial is made of stainless steel with a metallic finish on a concrete pedestal, capable of withstanding 10 years on the island of Nami. It consists of seven columns, symbolizing the bond between the seven emirates, with the names of the emirates engraved in Arabic and English, added to each column, conveying the spiritual essence of the "Al-Ayala" art.

In the center of the memorial, there is an engraved Arabic and English inscription, followed by the logo of the Sharjah Heritage Museum, and then a QR code containing informational videos about the folk art "Al-Ayala" in Arabic, English, and Korean.
