Sharja International Airport continues to actively support the tourism and travel sector. In recent news related to the airport, it was announced that travelers will have the opportunity to undergo a COVID-19 test directly upon arrival at the terminal. The testing procedure will be carried out using modern methods and will take only 15 minutes. Already after two hours, results will be available to passengers. The cost of the test will be 35 dirhams for children up to 12 years old, and for all other categories, it will be 50 dirhams.
In his commentary on the new implementation, the airport representative expressed confidence that providing such a service brings significant conveniences to travelers and allows them to reduce waiting times for results. It was also emphasized that this initiative is aimed at facilitating the restoration of international travel in the context of the pandemic.
"We are pleased to introduce this new service to our passengers. It demonstrates our ongoing readiness to introduce innovations to ensure the comfort and safety of everyone who uses Sharjah Airport," noted the representative.
