Everyone is ready to plunge into the world of reading and is invited to the 16th children’s reading in Sharjah, which will take place from April 23 to May 4 at the Expo Center in Sharjah. The event promises engaging activities, artistic performances, educational and recreational activities for children and parents.
The event organizer, the coordinator of the Hulia al-Majdini festival, emphasizes that the program of the event is aimed at supporting the education and entertainment of an audience of different ages. There will be activities related to literature, theatrical performances, scientific experiments, as well as meetings with writers, artists, and publishers specializing in children's literature.
In addition, within the framework of the event, the winners of literary and artistic awards related to children's literature will be announced and awarded. Prestigious awards such as the "Sharjah Prize for Illustrations of Children's Books", "Sharjah Prize for Best Children's Book", "Sharjah Prize for Audiobooks" and others, which highlight talented individuals in the field of children's literature, will be recognized.
The General Director of the Sharjah Children's Book Festival, Ahmed al-Amri, emphasized that Sharjah believes that books and play play a key role in shaping a child's personality and developing their creative potential. He also noted that the festival provides opportunities for authors, writers, and creative individuals to connect with the public and promote themselves.
