The Sharjah Book Authority, in cooperation with the company 'Sabah Ikhwani' and under the patronage of the Sharjah Book Authority, has launched a pioneering project called 'From Page to Screen'. The project aims to transform Arabic literary works into television and cinematic productions, reflecting the richness of Arabic narrative and presenting it to a wider audience. The first phase of the project includes selecting five literary works, as well as training programs and workshops to empower Arab writers and hone their skills in developing texts into innovative visual projects. Tamer Said, Director of the Sharjah Book Authority, explained that the project translates the vision of the emirate in turning literature into a multi-creative energy. Khawla Al-Majini, Director of Events and Marketing at the Sharjah Book Authority, stated that the project reflects Sharjah's strategy of investing in the creative economy and expanding the presence of Arabic literature through modern media.
