Sharjah has launched a special initiative for travelers. From November 1st to 16th, a special sticker featuring the logo of the 44th Sharjah International Book Fair will be placed on the passports of all arriving and departing passengers via Sharjah International Airport. This initiative, organized by the Sharjah Book Authority with the support of Sharjah International Airport, Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security, aims to create a welcoming experience that highlights Sharjah's status as a capital of culture and literature. Promotional materials in the airport terminals invite visitors to discover the fair's programs and engage with authors and publishers in their cultural sessions. Thus, the book becomes a living symbol of welcome and culture in the UAE.
