Under the slogan 'The Library at the Intersection of Artificial Intelligence and the Humanity of Knowledge,' the Emirates Library and Information Association is holding the 'Second Emirates Libraries Meeting' at the Sharjah Book Authority headquarters over the course of the 12th and 13th of the current month. The meeting aims to highlight the renewed role of libraries in promoting culture and knowledge, and to explore new horizons in digital transformation and creativity. It will also discuss the balance between modern technologies, led by artificial intelligence, and the human values associated with the production and dissemination of knowledge. The meeting will feature the participation of a select group of local and international experts in the fields of libraries and information science, and includes a diverse program of dialogue sessions and workshops.
