The International Photography Festival (Exposure) brings together the creators behind the lens to present exceptional works that reflect their human experiences. These experiences have shaped their narratives, enabling visitors to understand the visual language of their works. The festival confirms that photography begins with a human experience undertaken by the photographer, transforming into a creative work of art.

The 10th edition of Exposure, organized by the Sharjah Government Media Bureau, will be held on Al Marjan Island in Sharjah from January 29 to February 4. Its program includes over 126 inspiring sessions and speeches, 72 workshops, and 280 portfolio review sessions led by international experts.

This year's edition of the festival, titled 'A Decade of Visual Storytelling,' features numerous works that express memory, a journey, a sense of belonging, or pose questions about our relationship with others and nature. Among the participants are Kiana Hery, Gregoire Le Coeur, Joshua Holko, Mohamed Abdullah Mohtaseb, Carol Allen-Storry, and others.

The festival allows the public to explore 95 exhibitions featuring 3,200 works of art. The 'Exposure Global Photography Awards 2026' attracted 29,000 entries in the photography competition and 634 entries in the film category from 60 countries, reflecting the festival's global cultural presence.

These works are part of 95 exhibitions that reflect the direction of the 10th edition of Exposure, which focuses on depth and deliberate works rather than immediacy, and on human presence over spectacle. The festival offers the public an opportunity to engage with photography as a visual narrative that takes shape through human experience, ethical responsibility, and dedicating sufficient time to the story, enabling the viewer to understand the meaning of its visual language. 95 exhibitions featuring 3,200 works of art.
