The Sharjah Literary Agency is gearing up for several agreements at the Sharjah International Book Fair. With a focus on supporting writers, it enhances the presence of Arabic literature globally.

The Sharji agency for literature plans to sign a few agreements within the framework of its participation in the upcoming conference for publishers, taking place within the Sharji International Book Exhibition. Tamer Said, the agency's director, notes that their work is aimed at supporting writers and creative individuals so that they can exclusively concentrate on their creativity and transform their creative works into multifunctional projects.

"Belief in the value of the writer and his noble message inspires us to strive for excellence and uniqueness, to transform their creative potential into multifaceted projects, protected by legislation and relieving investment in their creativity," he added.

Under the leadership of Sheikh Budur bint Sultan al-Qasimi, chair of the Board of Directors of the Sharji Management, the agency actively promotes its presence in the global arena and represents Arabic literature in an innovative light, partnering with prominent creative industries and increasing opportunities for Arab writers to present their contributions to the world.

Moreover, the agency's portfolio includes such well-known names as Muhammad al-Mansi, Kandeel, Sumer Shahada, Mirna al-Mahdi, Hani Abdelrahman al-Kat, and others, whose works enrich the Arab literary scene on international platforms.

The Sharji agency for literature has added 100 new titles of children's literature to its lineup, including various books, Arabic and global accolades, contributing to the development of cognitive and creative skills of young readers.

It is also noted that the agency recently translated and published, in collaboration with one of the Greek publishing houses, two poetry collections featuring the works of poets Najm al-Ghanem and Ali al-Shuaili.

The Sharji agency for literature continues to expand its literary influence, offering around 250 works in various literary genres - from novels and poetry to books for children - by the brightest representatives of the Arab and global communities, many of whom have received prestigious international awards.
