Dr. Hussainia Ali, Education Advisor at the National Archives and Library, confirmed that the United Arab Emirates has established since its inception a comprehensive approach to community empowerment that includes all segments, from children, youth, and women to senior citizens and people of determination. This approach is rooted in a human vision based on Islamic values and the concept of responsibility and participation. This came during a panel discussion titled 'The UAE and Community Empowerment' as part of the 44th Sharjah International Book Fair 2025, where Ali reviewed the evolution of the empowerment concept in the country and its political, educational, and social domains, affirming that the family is the cornerstone of instilling the values of belonging and national identity. She added that empowerment is linked to cultural awareness, as investing in knowledge and culture enhances the citizen's ability to participate and make decisions, stressing that empowerment in the UAE is a continuous journey led by wise leadership, making it a global model that combines economic, social, and cultural development.
