Today at 18:00, Shardja will host the Armenian club Alaskert in the return match of the AFK Cup Round of 16. In the first leg away match, the team from OAE secured a victory with a score of 1:0 thanks to a goal from Kaio Lukas.
"Koral" aims to secure a place in the quarter-finals, so the Armenian coach Koutamenin is actively preparing the team following their return from Armenia last week. In the last training sessions, he has focused on correcting mistakes and deficiencies from the previous match, as well as strengthening positive moments.
Shardja hopes to have the same players as in the previous match, however, there may be minor changes in the lineup depending on the availability of each player. The team has many players capable of changing the game in favor of the club, such as Kaio Lukas, Osman Kamara, Luan Pereira, and Faris Belarbi.
On the other hand, the struggling Portuguese coach Joao Moty from Alaskert, including some of the best players from Armenia, is not expected to give up easily. They are determined to atone for the defeat in the previous match and restore their image after analyzing the mistakes that led to the loss in the last game.
