
The Shardja football team advanced to the quarter-finals of the AFC Champions League, defeating their rivals from Irbid, Hussein, 3-0 in a penalty shootout in a match that took place on Tuesday at the Shardja stadium. The original time of the game, which lasted four periods of play, ended with Hussein winning 1-0. Shardja won the match in the previous week in an Iranian match with a score of 1-0.
The first half of the match ended in favor of Hussein from Jordan with a score of 1-0, the goal was scored by player Mahmoud al-Murdi in the 41st minute, exploiting a problem in the defense. On the other hand, Shardja missed several opportunities throughout the match.
