The match, which concluded the tenth round of the first stage of the UAE Basketball League, saw Al-Bataeh increase their points total to 18. They remain in the top group of the standings, tied with Al-Nasr and Shabab Al-Ahli, one point behind the leaders, Sharjah. Al-Jazira now has 11 points.
In another match, Al-Dhafra achieved a comfortable 100-69 victory over Al-Wahda. This win brought Al-Dhafra's total to 12 points and continues their relative improvement in the second round of the first stage. Al-Wahda's point tally is now 10.
