'The Kings' held firm for 81 minutes against Al-Hilal's attack, which features a host of world-class stars, before former Barcelona player Malcolm scored the game's only goal following a pass from Portuguese João Cancelo, who has also played for major European clubs such as Manchester City, Bayern Munich, and Barcelona. Al-Hilal, who had secured their place in the Round of 16 in the previous round, increased their group total to 18 points (a perfect score) and remained in first place, while Sharjah stayed seventh with 7 points.
