Sharjah player Marcos Miloni confirmed that his relationship with the club's fans is based on mutual respect and trust built on the pitch. He noted that his connection with the supporters does not need justification or flowery words. Miloni also announced that he has officially signed for Al-Jazira club, after Sharjah had given every opportunity for the 'King' to renew his contract with the team. In an interview with 'Emirates Today', Miloni said: 'The relationship between me and Sharjah fans is clear and doesn't need explanation. This club was and remains my home, and the mutual love appeared in every match I played in the team's jersey. Football is measured by what you do on the pitch, not by what you say outside it.' Miloni explained that his primary desire was to continue with Sharjah for a longer period, confirming that he only considered leaving after the circumstances surrounding his future at the club changed. He added: 'I wished to stay for additional years, because I always felt comfortable here, but things did not go as I wished, and I did not sense a real desire for my continuation. On the other hand, I found another club that showed clear appreciation for what I have done, and dealt with me in a different way. As I progressed in my career, I felt that the time had come to take a new step, despite its psychological difficulty'.
