Sharjah Club Terminates Contract with Striker Ray Manaj

Sharjah Club announced the termination of the contract with Albanian player Ray Manaj by mutual agreement. The club stated: "Sharjah Club terminates its contract with the Albanian player Ray Manaj by mutual consent. We wish him success and prosperity in his future career." Albanian media had previously indicated that the 28-year-old striker was on his way to signing with the Chinese club "Zhejiang FC". He was offered an annual salary of four million euros per season, which prompted the player to agree to leave the professional league. It is worth noting that Ray Manaj had joined Sharjah's ranks during the last summer transfer window to strengthen the team's attacking force. Despite the high expectations surrounding his arrival, the Chinese offer led him to leave before completing his first season. Sharjah currently sits seventh in the league standings with 17 points. The club has won two titles in the recent period despite a decline in its form and a difficult start to the season under Serbian coach Milos, who was dismissed. The task was handed over to Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho, who quickly got "The King" back on the right track and won the UAE Super Cup with him, as well as the UAE-Qatar Super Cup. In another transfer, Sharjah signed Brazilian player Rafael Pereira (25 years old) from Al-Bataeh to strengthen its ranks during the second half of the professional league. The player possesses high technical skills that support the technical staff's vision for developing performance and achieving positive results in the coming period.
