The player of the UAE national youth team and the Al-Sharjah cycling club, Ali Ahmed Al-Nasirai, has passed away following an accident during a training session. He collided with a parked car on the roadside while cycling with his teammates, resulting in fatal injuries. He was rushed to the hospital but was later pronounced dead. The UAE Cycling Federation issued an official statement of condolence, mourning the late player and offering sincere condolences and support to his family, as well as his teammates at the club and the national team. The federation also prayed to Allah to have mercy on the soul of the deceased and grant him paradise. The player's last appearance with the national team was at the Arab Road Cycling Championship held in Iraq last October, where he represented the UAE in the road race for the youth category.
