In a press statement, he said: "I know that we must raise our heads and strive to deliver a better performance in the next match. We must work hard every day because if we continue on this path, we will suffer more." He added: "I don't know what to say, I feel a great sense of shame, I am sorry for this defeat. We work hard and do our best to win matches and make our fans happy, but unfortunately, we are going through a very difficult period." He continued: "Every player in our team knows that he must wear the Al-Sharjah club badge and give his all, because when we don't do what we're supposed to do, we will suffer, and we must try to deliver the best performance in the next match." Goals for Al-Jazira were scored by Bruno de Oliveira (20), Nabil Fakir (28 and 31), Milson (35), and Simon Panza (50). With this result, Al-Jazira rose to fourth place with 31 points, while Al-Sharjah's points remained frozen at 17, dropping to 11th place, and continues its negative run of results.
